The KRISTAL User Forum is back online! After lots of troubles with insufficient disk space on our server and corrupt database tables, we have upgraded the forum software to a newer version and it seems to work fine now.

Believe it or not: there are in fact people out there wasting their time with "cracking" a free product. And even worse: we heard rumors a while ago of someone selling KRISTAL on eBay!
Please do not pay anything for KRISTAL, unless you intend to use it for commercial purpose or if you want to support future development! The one and only point of sale is this website!

Beta 14 is ready for download. It is not the expected RC1 because some Plug-Ins and the manual are not yet ready...
Some final features have been added e.g. a global Timebase button (Musical/Linear), KRISTAL Waver can now export AES31 (please do some compatibility tests!), the generic VST editor has improved... and a cool VST MultiDelay is included in the installer!!!

As promised, the editing features in KRISTAL Waver have been improved! A new Glue tool allows to "glue" parts together to a folder part. Multiple selection is supported for Move/Copy/Paste. The waveform is generated in background and displayed at a higher resolution...
Please test this version extensively and report any serious bugs. Next one is expected to be the first release candidate for KRISTAL Audio Engine 1.0!!!

Beta 10 (some more ASIO fixes)

Some more ASIO problems are fixed, e.g. the emi 6|2 audio interface should finally work with Beta 10. Another cool thing is the new cut tool in KRISTAL Waver.
A big *THANK YOU* to all beta testers, who helped to isolate the problems!
The feature set of KRISTAL 1.0 is freezed. There are some more small things on the list which will be implemented, all other incoming requests have to be delayed until after the final 1.0 release.
Btw, anyone interested to help writing the manual... ;)

I received some reports that KRISTAL produces silence only with some 24 Bit ASIO cards (M-Audio Audiophile etc.). I hope this is fixed now in Beta 7. Please report...

Beta 6 (Win98 startup problem fixed)

Nobody is perfect... but I should have tested the installer on Win98 before uploading :( I made a quick fix and Beta 6 is available for download. However, there are still some strange things happening when running on old Windoze... I need some more time to sort them out.
