Tai chi

I practice Tai chi on a regularly basis since 2005. It has a big impact on the way I am, how I deal with stress, and how I make decisions in my job and in life in general. It helps me focus on the moment. All movements come from the center of the body, no part moves isolated.

I started with the short form of the Yang style according to Chen Man-Ch'ing and Patrick Kelly. Sadly, my first teacher Claus Albermann passed away in 2017.

I’m now in a group practicing Hun Yuan Tai Chi (derived from Chen style).

Still scratching the surface of this truly beautiful internal martial art. ☯
