I’m Matthias Juwan. This is my personal website I keep around for more than two decades.
Born and grown up in Carinthia/Austria, I’m now based in Hamburg/Germany. I hold an engineering degree in technical computer science.
At work, I am vice president and co-founder at PreSonus Software (now part of Fender), and intellectual father of Studio One (now Studio Pro). I’m the original developer of KRISTAL Audio Engine and the cross-platform application framework CCL.
In my free time, I’m into various genres of music, movies, and books. I play bass guitar, used to practice Tai chi, and sometimes write poetry.
The German term “Kreatives” translates to creative stuff in English.
